Responsibilities:
- Ability to create a wide range of Environment assets: full cycle from blockout to optimization.
- Analyze concepts, select references, and interact with the clients.
- Self-control of the quality and deadlines.
- Work in close collaboration and participate in daily syncs.
- Strive for artistic and creative solutions, find and offer ways to implement them within the technical requirements.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in the game development
- Experience in sculpting stone, wood, metal structures and their combinations.
- Strong knowledge of ZBrush.
- Ability to analyze complex textures and be able to combine them.
- Desire to share expertise with team members.
- Experience in modeling and texturing Environment objects.
- Understanding the full asset production cycle from blockout to optimization.
- Understanding the principles of optimizing game-ready models.
- Ability to accurately convey the properties and characteristics of different materials — both organic and solid surfaces.
- High level of texturing. You will create realistic materials.
- Ability to work with vertex normals.
- A high degree of self-motivation and development
- Understanding the role of constructive feedback.
- Portfolio with examples of Environment assets.
Desirable Skills:
- Ability to adapt and optimize work processes when necessary.
- Ability to sense proportions, analyze the concept and complex combinations of shapes and textures.
- English: Intermediate or higher.
