Responsibilities:
Handle game lighting: ensure lighting performance and optimization.
Adjust the technical pipeline/setup based on project specifics.
Think through the environment in terms of aesthetics and gameplay.
Desirable Skills:
Professional experience in the game industry — lighting-specific experience is a plus, but not required.
Experience with 3D modeling.
Experience working with light in a cinematic or live-action production environment.

Requirements:
Deep knowledge of lighting workflows in games, including their technical trade-offs and hardware limitations.
Excellent visual judgment and advanced knowledge of color and lighting dynamics.
Familiarity with core rendering concepts such as lightmaps, GI, and light probes within a typical game pipeline.
Ability to source, analyze, and apply visual references effectively.
A growth mindset — always open to mastering new software and absorbing knowledge from neighboring gamedev areas.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine desire to work as part of a team.
