We are looking for a Sub Department Lead 2D Concept who understands how to organize the work of artists in such a way that all processes, tasks and plans are clear and implemented on time.

- Launch new projects with the selection of a team, setting up a pipeline and determining the quality level of art.
- To control the quality of the artwork, taking into account the technical requirements, style and expectations of the client.
- Plan deadlines, priorities, workload, and team composition together with managers and team leaders.
- Build clear and stable communication with the client.
Team development:
- Participate in hiring, hold reviews, and support the growth of team leaders and artists.
- Create an environment for team development — a knowledge base, workshops, and training materials.
Processes and standards:
- To sort out mistakes and improve processes and tools.
- Maintain and update pipelines, templates, and project documentation, and maintain a resource base.
- Implement relevant solutions and tools to increase team effectiveness and meet industry standards.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in the gaming industry or an art studio in related positions.
- High viewing experience and understanding of art processes.
- Skills in organizing and managing tasks, the ability to work in conditions of multiple parallel processes.
- Level of English - at least Upper-Intermediate (B2) for reading technical documentation and communicating with clients.
Desirable Skills:
- Work experience as a 2d concept artist.
- Understanding the full cycle of game art development and the technical requirements of game engines.
- Knowledge of basic management tools (Jira, Notion, Trello) and programs for creating reference boards (PureRef, Miro).
