The busiest conference season for ENTANGLED Studio is behind us! In August, we attended devcom and gamescom, and in early September, we took part in XDS. Our BizDev team Svietlana Smirnova and Ksenia Afanaseva shared their impressions, key insights, and notable trends they observed in the industry.

“To strut our stuff, obviously! Events and conferences are a great way to scope the industry scene, meet new people, and learn what everyone’s been up to.”

“Most of our communication happens online, so these events are a real breath of fresh air. You can talk in person, in a more informal atmosphere, with people you usually only message.”

“Online calls will stay the most convenient, but there’s a level of trust that can only be achieved through an in-person meeting.”

“Face-to-face communication always gives more than virtual — it helps us understand each other better.”

“They’re usually warm yet highly productive conversations, given the limited time. We present the studio and our projects, listen to partners, and explore areas of shared interest.”
